A leaking water heater is one of those problems that can go from bad to really bad in a hurry. Water on the floor, damage to the surrounding area, and no hot water - it all compounds fast. That's exactly what this customer was dealing with when they called us.

We got out there quickly, helped them shut things down safely to stop further water damage, and then got to work on the replacement. The old Rheem unit had run its course. Age, wear, and a failing tank - it wasn't worth repairing. A full replacement was the right call.

We swapped it out for a new Rheem Performance Plus tank. But we didn't just drop in a new unit and call it a day. We also installed a new expansion tank and ran new flexible supply lines. The expansion tank is worth calling out specifically - it protects the new unit from pressure buildup that can shorten the life of the heater over time. It's a small addition that makes a real difference long-term.

Fresh copper connections, color-coded hot and cold flex lines, and everything properly secured. The install is clean, the system is dialed in, and this customer has reliable hot water again. That's the goal every time.

A leaking tank isn't something to sit on. The longer it goes, the more potential there is for water damage to spread. If your water heater is acting up - leaking, making strange noises, or just not keeping up - it's worth getting someone out to take a look sooner rather than later.
