The Story Behind FME Plumbing

The name FME Plumbing isn’t a corporate acronym dreamed up in a boardroom. It stands for Fife, Milton, and Edgewood — the three communities where we’ve lived, worked, supported youth sports, cheered at high school games, and built our lives.

My son graduated from Fife High School and now works alongside me as a plumbing apprentice, learning the trade from the ground up. Before moving to Washington Premier, my daughter played for FME Soccer — a local club that shares our initials and our belief in showing up, working hard, and being part of something bigger than yourself.

That’s the spirit we bring to every service call.

With over 28 years in the plumbing industry, our lead plumber has the knowledge and hands-on experience to handle virtually any plumbing situation — from routine maintenance to complex commercial installations. We’ve worked in homes built in the 1920s and brand-new construction. We’ve handled emergency pipe bursts at 2am and carefully planned custom home designs that took months to complete.

We hold a Washington State plumbing contractor license, are fully bonded, and carry liability insurance that exceeds what the state requires. We don’t cut corners — on the job or with paperwork.

We built this company on three simple beliefs: be honest, do the work right, and treat people the way you’d want to be treated. That means giving you a real price before any work starts. It means explaining what we found and what your options are — without pushing you toward the most expensive one. And it means cleaning up after ourselves and leaving your home the way we found it.

We’re not trying to be the biggest plumbing company in Western Washington. We’re trying to be the one people in our community trust most.
