Most plumbing problems don't show up all at once. They build. A slow drip here, a corroded fitting there - and before long, you've got water-stained framing and damage working its way through walls and subfloor. That's exactly the kind of situation we walked into for a repeat customer in Milton.

We started by checking the incoming water pressure. The gauge read close to 150 PSI. Normal residential pressure sits somewhere between 40 and 80 PSI. At 150, you're basically putting your pipes under constant stress - fittings fail faster, angle stops wear out sooner, and small leaks turn into big ones. We also found a failed expansion tank, which goes hand-in-hand with a high-pressure system. Both needed to be addressed.

From there, we tracked down multiple leaks along the copper water lines and got to work. We repaired the damaged sections, replaced the leaking angle stops, and made sure everything was properly resealed. The copper lines visible in the walls show clean, solid connections - no shortcuts, no band-aid fixes. When you're dealing with a system that's been running at excessive pressure, the repairs need to be done right or you'll be back at square one.

High water pressure is one of those things homeowners don't usually think about until something fails. But it's one of the most common reasons plumbing systems wear out ahead of schedule. If you're seeing recurring leaks, hearing banging pipes, or noticing your fixtures seem to wear out faster than they should - pressure could be the reason. A quick check can save you from a lot of expensive repairs down the road.

We've worked with this customer before, and that matters to us. Building that kind of ongoing trust means showing up, doing the job thoroughly, and not leaving until the system is actually working the way it should. That's what general plumbing service is supposed to look like.
